Is apollo the next web 2.0 platform?
Apollo is the code name for a cross-operating system runtime being developed by Adobe that allows developers to leverage their existing web development skills (Flash, Flex, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax) to build and deploy rich Internet applications (RIAs) to the desktop.

After watching the keynote by Kevin lynch and the 1 hour Alpha release presentation on Lynda.com I believe that this can very well be the next platform for developers. This is a great move by Adobe to bring the amazing flash and flex capabilities in the web 2.0 world and get the credit it deserves.
Cant wait to see what this puppy can do!
